Difference Between Honeybees and Carpenter Bees

One of the main differences between honeybees and carpenter bees is where they live. Honeybees live in nests and hives outdoors, while carpenter bees live in trees and wooden structures. Their bodies are also different from each other, with honeybees having small, hairy bodies and carpenter bees with black, hairless abdomens.
